57th Photo Shoot!

I had another session with an adorable little 7 week old little boy. He was so sweet and once I got him asleep he just sit there and let me pose him and snap away. I was able to take many wonderful photos and capture little squishy faces and smiles. I tried something new that I seen on pinterest which was using Christmas lights to create bokeh in the background on your subject. It turned out wonderfully and was a hit to everyone who seen it. I also was able to pose him pretty well for being 7 weeks once he was asleep. I'm happy with the outcome and happy to gain more practice with a little one and can't wait to do it again!

Sunday I had a session with a cute and feisty 2 year old little girl! She was a ball of energy and gave cute faces and adorable grins. The sun was perfect and gave the perfect haze look and I was able to snap some sharp photos of her an her big brown eyes. I was glad the outcome was so cute and I had fun editing each and every one I kept!

I had an engagement session Saturday and it turned out adorable. It was really chilly that morning so they were dressed for winter but it made it look really cute and different. I did some new poses and used my new favorites actions that give a simple edit that makes it pop and looks gorgeous with the background. Even though we froze a little you couldn't tell from the photos and I'm so happy I got to take them for the couple and bride/groom to be!

I had my first indoor session with a small baby girl over the weekend. I was finally about to use some new props and blankets and I had enough room to make it work perfectly with a small baby and get enough natural light which I prefer and it turned out beautifully and I was able to capture little grins and facial expressions that were to cute! I was glad to have a easy going baby and patient clients to work with to get these photos for them to keep and look back on forever. Here is a little peek!

Christmas mini's!

I had my Christmas mini outside over the weekend. Sadly I went from 7 booked sessions for it to only 2 and then another this coming weekend because of the rain and cold weather. It was still a success and some beautiful, simply photos came out of it. I love outside photos with the scenery all around and prefer it for myself and my own photography unless it's newborns or small children then I might do inside photos with my own set up. I was pleased with the outcome and so were they and I added my own little touches and props that I haven't seen yet. I had two families of 3 people included in each. Both families had one adorable child I got to photograph and get their little smiles. Here is a preview from those sessions.

Yesterday I did a 1 year old session. She was an adorable little girl interesting in her balloons and running around but I still managed to get some good photos of her while she was busy exploring. It was a really warm sunny day but I had to work with wind that was blowing the balloons and everything around but I still love how the photos came out in the end and managed to get some cute faces and her own natural poses. They loved them also which is always my goal!

I got to experience an adorable little 4 month old little man to photograph last Saturday. He was a content little boy and just sit there and let me snap away. He had some gorgeous blue eyes that the camera captured and when I edited the photos I was able to make them pop out without even trying. I was happy with how they turned out and I got to use my new blanket, wood crate, and chalk board I just ordered a few weeks back. His parents loved all the shots and as always this makes me very happy!

So for Halloween I picked out outfits to make my little ones match and stand out. I like to find something different that you probably wouldn't see 100x's over. So when someone mentioned this idea when I couldn't find the right size for thing 1 and thing 2 costumes I jumped right on it. They had their photos taken by tons of people and were just loved and adored in their little outfits. I even overheard people say they were their favorites so far for the night. Of course this made me beam with pride. Colton was so polite and said thank you and knew what to do. My little Ann was a bit shy but followed along with her brother and finally got the hang out it. She's a bit leery of strangers but once she saw Colton do it she knew she could. I have two sacks full of candy and let them have some here and there but hate giving them candy all the time and it makes me sick to eat it all the time anyways so it will last a good while! I got them to sing trick or treat to take photos and just show their personalities singing and acting goofy which I love the most. I love natural smiles!

I go to the doctor next week for another ultrasound and check up to discuss natural birth options and ideas. I will be 23 weeks then and I know he is growing I feel him all over and he is one hyper little guy. I can't believe I only have 17 weeks left and still have everything to plan for and buy. I want to wait until I'm at least 7 months to start so I don't get to anxious or impatient at the end! I have ideas it has to do with airplanes, owls, and all sorts of boy stuff ;-)!

Halloween mini's!

Yesterday I did a mini session and had one person interested and these by far are some of my favorites. I again used my white balance cap and it gave eye popping skin tones and the fall leaves just popped in the background and on the ground. I was so happy with the sooc ones so much and when I edited them I was just amazed and hope they like them just as well. Here is a preview!

*My husband works in the coal mines the last 7 years. This hits close to home. My heart goes out to them, read below*

Armstrong Coal Company tells 14 News that the two miners trapped in Ohio County have died.
Darrel Winstead, 47, of Madisonville and Samuel Lindsey, 23, of Mortons Gap, died at the Armstrong Coal Company's Equality Boot Mine in Centertown.
Preliminary reports show a rock fall started around 6:30 Friday morning after a crew drove a truck near a high wall.
Tons of rock fell from that high wall, injuring several miners on the site.
The rubble trapped Winstead and Lindsey in a truck.
"We get together with all the ambulances here in town, coordinate a command post and they get that person to that point. If they need extra equipment, we have to coordinate with Centertown Fire Dept. and other agencies to get people out," says Charlie Shields of the Ohio Co. EMA.
Crews tried to rescue the men but they were unsuccessful; their bodies were found Friday afternoon.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends affected by today's tragedy," said Governor Steve Beshear. "Mine safety is of paramount importance, and investigative teams will begin work immediately to determine the cause of this accident and whether there are any steps that can be taken to ensure such an accident does not occur again."
Winstead and Lindsey were blasters for the Mine Equipment and Mill Supply Company.
The Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing says they will investigate.
Today's accident brings the number of 2011 mine-related fatalities in Kentucky to six.

Sunday I did my first big Senior shoot with boys. It was fun coming up and finding ideas. They wanted to use football, hunting, and then more of a preppy outfit. So we used three locations. The football field & bleachers, a wooden trail area, and by some brick buildings & railroad tracks. It was different and more laid back and I got plenty of great photos out of the session. Fabulous Friday-

A week ago we have our nephew Dillon come over to spend the night and got to get a taste of having three children would be like. I have to say it turned out really well and he was such a good child and very independent. We went out to eat, to the park, watch the lion king, and just had a wonderful time. I would love to do it more before Mason comes!

I have so much I need to update about from my photography, pregnancy, birth plan, and just life. I'm always busy or distracted these days with the kids though. Just a small glimpse. My photography is doing well. I'm usually busy every weekend! My pregnancy has gotten better and my cervix has gotten longer and the baby is already about a lb now. I plan on having a natural birth if all possible and use a tub, ball, walking, etc and no csection at all cost. The kids are constantly busy, fighting, doing school work, or just family time. I need to write more in depth about everything soon. Here are some photos of Masons from yesterday.

I say adventurous because her adorable son wanted to run around and play so I had to snap away when I could and got the most natural expressions that a 2 year old would make. A fall weekend of fun!

My weekend went as planned and I was very happy to finally have some family time with Ryan and the kids which I've wanted for a few weeks since I've felt better and in the mood to get out and enjoy the cool fall weather and beautiful scenery around me. Friday Ryan and I watched fast five and it was a great movie with my favorite, Paul walker ;-)! Saturday we both spend the morning cleaning up things. He got the garage back in order and both of our cars washed and I managed to shampoo most of the carpet and I think from now on I'm just going to hire Stanley steamers to do that for me. After we had finished our work we went out to eat as a family and finally arrived at the pumpkin patch. The kids had a blast jumping in the bouncers, going down the zip line, going on a hayride, and running through a corn maze! I had to talk them into finally picking out a pumpkin and leaving after and hour and half of running around like crazy and trying to snap some photos at the same time too! When we all got home the kids were exhausted so they went to bed early and Ryan and I had some alone time and watched the new transformers. The next day we all slept in and once we made ourselves get up we had some delicious dennys breakfast. That afternoon the kids painted their pumpkins and really enjoyed that. It was a huge mixture of colors mostly and Ryan and I helped some too. Then we went and spend time with family before Ryan returned back to work the next day and I also took photos there and relaxed after a busy weekend. I'm ready for Halloween to come and my Raggedy Ann and Andy can go trick or treating. I'm also ready for the end of the month because it's my birthday and I'm going fall shopping for clothes/shoes for the kids and us which I'm shopping for the next couple of months so it will be a big trip. I also have 5-6 photo shoots planned for the next 3-4 weeks which will also keep me busy too. November will be the same with preparing for Adelyns party, Thanksgiving, and starting to plan to buy baby things and redo the boys room. I'm ready for the next couple of months and a new year to begin! Here are some photos from our fun and exhausting weekend.

Yesterday I took my little man outside to take a few fall shots of him finally. He usually goes along with it and does all his little poses and winks. It was pretty easy getting his photos at his age and I was excited with how they turned out! Now I'm excited for the weekend because more than likely my husband will be home which means I will get to do all my fall plans-pumpkin patch, hay ride, photos!!! I set out my fall decor inside and outside Monday and it looks wonderful... I love fall!

New hair color!!!!

Nothing new is happening since I last updated. I'm just excited for the month of October for many, many reasons. We are planning to visit a pumpkin patch and go on a hayride with the kids. I plan on letting them paint my belly for Halloween for fun. They're going to be Raggedy Ann and Andy for Halloween. My birthday is the 26th. We are going shopping for fall and updating their wardrobe soon. I also plan on getting my fall decor out and having fun with that pretty soon :-)! It is pretty chilly today but I hope it warms up for two shoots I have planned for Sunday. I'm doing a 1 year shoot and one for a 6 week old baby. I can't wait and going to plan them and have that together tomorrow night! Here's to planning and a good month!

Where to begin?!?

It seems like it has been forever since I wrote out a post about my life and everything that goes on. I find it freeing to be able to express my feelings and talk about what's important to me. The last couple months have been trying on my feelings emotional, mentally, and physically but there have been some amazing moments and memories made along the way.Colton started School, he turned 5, we visited the zoo, I had pregnancy scares and issues but still treading along, I lost friendships and gain a few good ones, but the most heartbreaking is almost buying what I considered my dream house and being a week from closing when the seller backs out from impatience when I worked my butt off for two months to do this practically alone, stressing myself out, and having headaches that made me literally sick. I didn't have anyone to talk to about my feelings since friendships I thought I had disappeared and people could care less. Through that experience I also realized I can't plan my future, I can't get my hopes up, I can't count on others, I can only count on myself, Let go of trying to plan my life and let life happen as it comes. 2011 as by far been the hardest year for me. I think I expected more out of it and life and more out of people and gave it all too much credit. Expecting things doesn't always turn out in your favor. Sometimes the most trusting can slap you in the face and bring you to your knees but I always know that I am strong, I can let go, and I can be myself 100% with or without these things and people. If anything hurts you, let it go, be happy, and live for what makes you happy, always.

Now let's skip to Colton. He started School the beginning of August. He was/still is so excited to learn, ride the bus, and always talks about his friends. We are trying to work on him paying attention more and not rushing through work but when he applies himself he is one smart little boy. He knows so much and absorbs everything he comes in contact with. I know he will be a wonderful person with his kind, gentle side. He will be a friendly, compassionate friend. He will work hard on things he loves and is passionate about. I never expect perfect from my children I always want them to be happy and to work hard to get what they want and he seems to be doing it even if sometimes we have to work on a little harder than others. At first he didn't talk much about school or people but now he always comes home and talks about his friend and what he's done during the day and it warms my heart that he has made friends and not being as shy and timid around others. Here are a few photos from his first day of school!

Some new ones of Adelyn..

Colton's birthday was August 28th which he turned 5!!! We decided to do something simple this year and take the kids and some family to the zoo followed by pizza and games afterwards. He had an amazing time and loved it more than any birthday party I could of prepared. He loved all the animals and it was just a day for him and we tried to make it amazing and memorable.

Now on to my pregnancy! I'm now 16 (almost 17) weeks! I found out a week ago we are expecting a little boy! I'm more then thrilled. Ryan picked out the name Mason and I loved the name Liam so his name will be Mason Liam Franklin. I've had pregnancy issues since 8 weeks starting with a sub chronic hemorrhage. Which has been doing well the last few weeks and thankfully hasn't hurt the baby since it can cause miscarriages a lot which made me scared for a couple of months and stressed to the max! Then my cervix started to shorten. The Normal length is 4cm and mine was 2cm so they put in a cerclage and so far so good with that. Mason started moving and I felt it around 13.5 weeks and I felt him kick on the outside at 15 weeks. Ryan felt him last night and I can already see him move. I think he will be a strong, big guy. I'm hoping for another vbac and trying for no epidural so I can hopefully skip the risk of forceps and a csection if all possible! I already look 6 months pregnant and starting showing around 2 months which huge since I didn't with Colton until 6 months and 4 months with Adelyn! I'm excited to start on the boys room. I'm doing a vintage airplane theme with matching furniture. I also want to redo addys room a bit by adding a huge tree decal with vintage births. I'm ready to plan and buy for this little guy and hoping he doesn't try to come on February 29th since it's a leap year and he's due March 3rd 2012. Here are some belly shots and ultrasound photos since I get them every 1-2 weeks to check on cervix and internal bled.

So about the house situation. We have decided since that fell threw and after crying for 2 hours I realized this may be a blessing and what we actually needed. I may not got what i wanted now but I know we can work for even better in the future and concentrate on bigger things at the moment. God makes everything happen for a reason and apparently it wasn't time for the big move for us, once I realized this I went from depressed to feeling like a weight from lifting from me and felt motivated and excited about life in the present and working on the future and realizing whatever comes will come. We decided we will do what we were going to in the first place and that is redo a lot of things in the house now from windows, carpet, deck, roof, and small things here and there and then sell it when the time comes next year and we can make a bigger profit and buy something more than we were going to before and the wait may indeed be worth it. I already and blessed with what I have now and a lot to focus on and materialistic things won't overrun me anymore. So positive thinking and happy thoughts from now on!

I did a shoot about two weeks ago for a family. It was more a fall theme with rich colors of browns, greens, and blues in a nice country setting at her parents home. Her daughter was adorable and gave the cutest grin and I loved the shots I was able to get with this family. It rained half way through but I still managed to get a few good ones even though I planned on some more poses but they were happy with the ones we got anyways!

I had a fun shoot with a few new props with an adorable baby girl, her cousin, and her mama! I was able to use a vintage chair which I'm in love with and finally my white cocoon which made for adorable photos! I was pleased with so many it was hard to chose which to keep and edit and they were quite pleased also! She had beautiful complexion and dark eyes and it made the photos pop even more!

I had a beautiful outside wedding in August with a fun couple with a beautiful color scheme. They used beautiful pinks, yellows, and whites and with the outside scenery it made it all pop! I had a good time shooting this wedding and brought alone a back up photographer (my sil Natalie). We were both able to capture beautiful poses and amazing moments for the couple. I had to privilege of taking photos of a friends wedding at one of the prettiest places around Kentucky. It was a dream wedding with a carriage, gazebo, pink and black colors, and flowers all around. I was happy to capture such a beautiful moment in someones life and even though it was almost painfully hot it was a success and I had many photos from their day. I've been behind on blogging and everything else but plan to add my photo shoots and get back on track starting with this one which was a month ago. I've had 4-5 shoots since then! Here is a preview of that day!

Making up for lost time...

I'm a terrible blogger/commenting person these days. We are in the midst of trying to sell our house and buy one down the road. Not sure if it will work out but we are working on it and so far we have got good news so we will see and put it in gods hands! My pregnancy is going well as far as I know. I go for my first appointment tomorrow and I hope for a ultrasound but since I a little shy of 7 weeks they will probably make me wait until at least 8 weeks! I'm anxious to see my due date by the ultrasound, see if there is only one, ask questions to clear my mind, and whatever else I can think of while I'm there if I don't forget anything, anyways.. I'm going to be planning Colton for school soon. Getting his school supplies, a few new outfits, and meeting teachers. I decided to do simple parties this year with family, cake, and some decor since we are planning for a new baby and possibly moving and I don't want my kids to think they can always have everything perfect and fancy and normalcy is ok! Now moving on to some challenges..

Vacation makes for lack of blogging!

The week is flying by and I still have another to spend with my husband before he's back to work. We have been busy watching movies, going to the park, riding around visiting family. This weekend we went to his brothers for food and fireworks. Today we went to church this morning it was wonderful. I wrote this on my facebook status after to sum up my feelings.
"Church spoke to me today not only because I could relate but because I was talking to someone about it last night. Bless those who curse you. Love everyone. People reap what they sew, you don't have to get even and talk. You realize how much you harbor bitterness and pain but you have to pray about it and put it in gods hands to be set free or you will die a very unhappy person."
We are soon leaving for some food at his church and the kids can play while we talk and mingle and what not. Then we are going to visit his mom for MORE food and possibly fireworks. So it's been a lot of food involved this weekend but my pregnant mind and body isn't complaining unless I pack on 55lbs or more like last pregnancy! Tomorrow we will get together with his dad and stepmoms family for more food and fireworks...shew so much to do. Then I guess this week will be more relaxing and cleaning my booty off too. We got some news last week and still not sure if it's good or bad news but the outcome is however it should be and what god believes is right for us at the moment but if you could pray for us for guidance and understanding whatever it turns out to be. I think everything happens for a reason just like my pregnancy this time but I know a blessing will come out of it and another little one to love. We are rich by no means but we will make sure our kids our taken care off and loved. Going to church has made me feel more secure and ok about life each Sunday. I finally gave my tithe this weekend. I feel like I should give more but I am trying and I know every little bit counts and I feel better when I do so in church and god understands and appreciates every willingness we give to church and to him. I'm so ready for my first obgyn visit to check on everything. I keep having dreams I'm having twins which scares me to pieces. I had a dream last night it was a girl then turned into a boy.. or was a girl and boy still not sure!!! Wish we luck on this adventure and hopes to have another successful vbac experience!

This week has been... different. I guess it's my hormones going crazy. My sore boobs, cramps, and constant peeing too but I'm so moody and everything thing people say bugs me to the point I've considered deleting facebook and being a hermit but I know this too shall pass and my mood will change. Telling Ryan about my pregnancy went ok. He was indeed upset about it at first. People seem to expect two children but more seems unrealistic this days to everyone. I know we will manage, be happy, and be alright because I truly believe god doesn't give you anything you can't handle. I have a lot of planning to do and I'm excited and ready to see what the future holds and if I have a boy or girl. Apparently my pregnancy hormones are extremely high since I was able to get a positive 5 days prior to a missed period and only took one due to constant pelvic pain and peeing so I figure I would check because you never know and well I indeed was pregnant and in shock. I've extremely tired and hope I'm not anemic this time. I have to get prenatal pills asap and my first midwife appointment is July 14th! I'm hoping to hold off or even not get an epidural so I'm able to move and the baby can move and not get stuck like my prior births and have to use forceps and push for four hours like I did with Adelyn. I went to 5 cm without one with Adelyn so I will hold off as long as possible and just see anyways. I really hope my energy kicks in soon because I'm behind on my housework and everything and need to get it done the last few days so I can enjoy vacation and not look at a mess all the time. Enough of that now on to some photo challenges.

EDIT- YES I AM PREGNANT. I USED AN AT HOME TEST AND GO TO THE DOCTOR JULY 14TH AT 1PM! MY DUE DATE AS OF NOW IS MARCH 2ND 2012!!!!
I have some exciting and shocking news I found out earlier. I can't wait to share with everyone and soon will. It was unexpected but I guess God knows what right and of course doesn't make mistakes so I will try to concentrate on the good things and happy memories to come and let any negativity or negative people not even cross my mind if they do! I had a great weekend with my husband on Father's day. The kids colored a poster board card for him and I made him a gone fishing flower pot full of gummy worms and fishing poles I made with fake fishes. He loved the ideas! Sunday we went to eat at the Ryan's that he decided to go to and then we rested in the afternoon and spent the night watching a movie and relaxing. Today I visited my mamaw in the hospital and ran errands and found out the "news"... you will have to wait and see and come back and read!

Over the weekend I was able to shoot two girls that were sisters. They were extremely easy to get photos of and it didn't take long at all too get many shots needed to show each girls smile and sisterly love. I had fun editing each and every one and making their beauty and love pop even more.

Everyone should head on over to Chelsea's blog from The Paper Mama and enter her fun and most adorable little photo contest that has to do with your best child shot or one of them because I know we all have many and us moms awe and get all extra happy seeing an adorable little grin, smile, and special capture. Finding one shot to use is extremely difficult but I found using my own cutie would be best for this contest for me!!!

My cutie patootie ( or one of them anyways)!!! I wish I could use photos of both of them because I adore their little faces and I guess I may be a little biased. Their are so many picture perfect kids in the contest and I know each and every one is special so I'm happy to add my own to make someone smile and say "AWE" ;-)!!!

Celebrated my mamaw's 82nd birthday yesterday. She turns actually 82 tomorrow but it was the weekend so we had a small get together and I captured a few photos in the midst of the hot day. I finally sold my 85mm. I had to get Elements 9 which I believe is about 100 dollars and the person who bought my lens gave me that so I took 50 dollars off and sold for 250. So I saved 50 and got a good deal too! It was a great lens I use my 50mm 1.4 mainly and my 35mm 1.8 a lot more and I plan to save up for a macro lens. I'm not sure I want a nikon brand or another brand I found that was amazingly awesome but when the time comes I will look into it. Right now I have to call the bank and see if our plans with through tomorrow to have a lower interest rate and get a loan to upgrade things around here this summer, Fingers crossed and prayers needed please! Then I'm going to start saving after June about 500-700 dollars for Coltons party and birthday present. I plan to get him a train table and a tv to go on the wall. I decide to get them a Christmas present early either next month or september. I'm going to get them a outside plastic climber to go by their swing set. Then I have to plan for Adelyns party and Christmas at the same time and get her a ride on battery power atv or jeep but that will happen in due time anyways and I'm rambling on. I had a busy weekend with family. Spent the day with Ryan and the kids Saturday. Then Sunday we went to church, out to eat, and I went to walmart finally and got groceries, house products, new pjs, and new bathing suits for Adelyn and I. I think we are good for about 2 possible 3 weeks, oh my! Then I came home and put away stuff for 45 minutes. Then proceeded to go tan and come home was going to swim but it was almost 10pm so I watched Coal with Ryan and now everyone asleep and I cleaned out my car and working on laundry. I plan to finish up the house tomorrow and go work out and hope to have a productive week, might possible whip out my scrap booking supplies and work on a few pages this week and next and take more photos!!!

Sorry I've been gone forever... or since last Wednesday. My computer took a turn for the worst when the storm came through and shut the power off. Apparently my virus protection wasn't working and I had viruses which shut it down. $60 dollars later I have my computer back. I had my photos on there but had to download my photo shop, light room, actions, some fonts, presets, and you name it back and still have to download a few more things but I have most everything back on here and going. I went almost a week without being able to upload and edit photos and worrying if I would lose everything I had saved!!! Nothing huge has happened. Since my computer was done I had to cancel 3 newborn shoots and reschedule for a later time which is over $100 lost in sitting fees that I needed for the weekend. It's ok though. I had a decent weekend even though my husband worked and then went out fishing and riding Sunday and Monday!!!! I did get to spend time with family, go swimming, and clean the house in peace for a bit. I did indeed miss church which I now regret but this Sunday I WILL be there. I've been extra tired lately, I have no clue why.. I can't sleep well at night then when morning comes I can barely wake up. I need a new routine that's for sure. I finally got out this afternoon and took photos which I've been slacking on being tired and the heat the last few days as been and felt like 100 degrees. I went out later hoping it would be cooler but it was still rather hot so after 30-45 minutes we came in but I manage to get a few photos of the kids throwing rocks, playing with chalk, and jumping around. They found it funny with the loud, crazy bugs that are outside flew into my face and I ran away screaming... lol... I have two photo shoots this weekend and I'm booked every weekend except Fathers day which I won't use that day and 4 days in June/July but they are going fast so my weekends are very full. I plan to change my prices slightly in August due to gas, travel, and editing time. I spend over $60 on gas, about an hour traveling and an hour or more taking photos, and anywhere from 2-5 hours editing. I'm thinking about going up about 10 dollars on everything except prints, I will only go up a few dollars on each of those. Since I'm working more with shoots and have grown and learned so much more and my editing and photos show it I think it's time to do it and get paid for my work. I'm so nice and generous and do it for practically nothing since I love it and it's my passion but because of money I use out of pocket I have to change a little.. even though I love all my clients past, present, and future. Now to the good stuff ;-)!!! SOME PHOTOS OF MY BABIES I HAVE THE REST ON FLICKR/FACEBOOK AND WILL PROBABLY ADD SOME TO CHALLENGES I WILL TRY TOO DO THIS WEEK!!!

Finished off my weekend with a sweet dark headed, brown eyed tiny baby boy! He was so easy to work with just like the little girl the day before. He barely cried a bit and just laid there making sweet faces and showing off his precious face. He did well with my props and make every photo pop. I usually take a ton of photos and end up with about 20-50 PERFECT ones to keep sometimes more and sometimes less but usually that amount and editing the photos I love the most makes me super happy especially when it's with very precious little ones that are easiest to work with. These are some from the shoot!

I finally was able to do another shoot since the rain and coldness held off. It was with a adorable, tiny newborn baby girl! She did so well and I was able to get plenty of shots in no time! I used a few of my new props and just the simplicity and innocence a baby brings to photos and ended up with gorgeous photos in the end. I absolutely love taking photos of newborns and I get to do another with a little boy tomorrow! These a few photos from the shoot with her!

Have you ever sat and pondered about the little things that hold you back. You criticizing yourself . The way you carry yourself. The things you love but don't always do perfectly. The people you care about but they don't alway feel the same. I hate always overly thinking every little thing in my life to a tee. I have to be on top of everything or I fall apart. I can't just let it be. I'm trying to let god take over but I see daily it's such a huge thing on myself to give in and not have structure with everything or if something bad happens to not let it get the best of me. I constantly compare myself even though I try to be my own person and give my own uniqueness in everything, you can't help to over analyze this or that, or even that if you are really THAT good or worth what you try to do even with reassurance and praise your own head and thoughts can make you see definitely. I want the negativity out of my head and I want only positivity to shine, always. Church was amazing this weekend and like every weekend since I went I had the urge to walk up and cry and pray, as does my husband..well the praying/giving it all to god part, anyways. I know I carry a lot on my heart and it burdens me. People don't realize how much things can hurt and affect a person in the long run, even after months or years passed by. I know doing this it will help me so much to get even closer to god and everything and god can see I'm completely devoted. I feel it in my heart for the most part but feel if I don't show this I'm failing god for not giving myself completely outwardly. I KNOW the preacher can sense it and even had someone pat me on the back and asked if I need someone to go up. I didn't say anything or move, but they knew. Which is why I know god is real. My faith is real. It's why I'm on the verge of tears and overwhelmed with emotion when the preacher talks and I feel like it's speaking to me and my soul, Like someone shouting "go, go, get it all out"!!!! I can be completely happy with most things if I do. I know it's a learning process and nothing will ever be perfect in this life, it isn't suppose to be anyways. I know I can be at peace with my looks. Lately my outwardly appearance has gotten me so down. I know bad habits from the pass can arise quickly with my obsessions and ocd already. I know if I go to far I will spiral out of control into eating patterns that aren't healthy. I'm tip toeing in between healthy and no healthy when I diet and exercise and don't know the good healthy life and where I shouldn't cross because I over do everything and let myself when I know I shouldn't. My daily life can be so simple at times and sometimes it gets the best of me. Being a mom and wife is severely hard but it doesn't always have to be as hard and I make it. Cleaning, cooking-even though I hate it, driving, bills, kids, and all of that doesn't have to be so overdone to where I'm mentally and physically exhausted and don't want to do nothing for a week, but I make it that away. My anxiety and own self keeps me from being my best sometimes and making me not feel my best when I do try too much. I don't like whining and complaining when I am blessed with healthy family and kids. I have a home. Food. Clothes. and so forth, but my life isn't perfect. It's a chaotic, crazy life sometimes. I just need to learn how to juggle it and my own thoughts and opinions and get completely on board with being the Christian I need to be. I know god is coming soon, whenever it will be, and I need to be what he wants me to be now. My life is going to be changing this year, good and bad. I need to prepare for things and be ok when things are always my way. I need to adjust and just prepare.

My kids are the best of friends, usually. They laugh, fight, bicker, and play. Here they are picking flowers on the tree at my mamaws house. Even though you can't see their faces they were happy and excited over picking flowers. So simple.

Editing a bit differently but in my own way. I like my photos to be slightly the same with some editing but still have each photo have it's own look even if it's a tiny difference in opacity or changing one layer a bit different or using a different action but not going crazy with it unless for fun anyways ;-)! I promise to add NEW photos this week and I'm definitely going to be taking more photos of my kids and adding them in between photo shoots. I need to start doing it more even if it takes more time! Possibly going to sell my nikon 85mm 1.8D lens since I rarely use it. It's a perfect lens worth 500 dollars and I've only used it about 5 times. I just don't take time for it. It's great for people who like to stand back from their subject but still get great focus and bokeh like a 35 or 50mm!!! If you are interested let me know and I will give you a price and can ship asap!!

I had a cute family shoot Sunday with an adorable little family That had a beautiful blue eyed girl and charming, adventurous little boy! I did it at one of my favorite spots but it was sadly flooded it most spots so I only have a small section to work with!! I did get a few family shots, children, and all four of them together and over all had around 20-30 perfect photos to suit them which they were very pleased with. These are some of my favorites out of the bunch!

I'm having a hard time the last couple of days dealing with stress and the future and whats to come. I make so many plans and goals and never know what could and can happen and really I have no control. Only god can decide. I need to motivate myself more and just do the best I can not only for me but my husband and children. It can be hard when you feel like everything is on your shoulders. I may no deal with the financial aspects of everything but I do deal with bills, cleaning, organizing, making appointments for everything, school, sports, kids, planning everything, just each and every detail of life and it doesn't help when you are a perfectionist and ocd and always feel like you "could" or "can" do better at everything. Just something I need to pray about and work on. I missed church Sunday and even that can change my week. I can't wait to go back Sunday. It was my mistake of not setting the clock and my Colton getting in our bed the middle of the night which he has done lately and Adelyn fussing and getting in and out of our bed too! I do have to say my weekend was amazing. The best ever in a long time. Saturday our babysitter bailed last minute which left me disappointed and finding one and Ryan mad for his own reasons which I won't go into detail since it's family. So my cousin (by marriage) said she could so she took on her kids and my two making four to watch from 1-10pm but they did very well together and I'm happy and thankful to could do it. I had my massage at 1pm which was amazing. Then we had a quick small lunch. We had a lot of time before 8:45pm which was our dinner reservations. So we came home and spent time together talking and everything. We left early to go eat and just walked/drove around for about an hour or so. We got in about 45 minutes early and enjoyed a wonderful but pricey meal. I had a stuffed steak and a dessert and it was to die for! Then we went and picked up our kiddos and went home to watch a movie. I was so tired I feel asleep 20 minute into it. Then we were woke up many time throughout the night from a fussy Addy and Colton moving in our bed. I didn't get up until 10am but had pancakes or a pancake waiting for me haha! I had a small family shoot that day that went really well and they liked the photos too. Then spent that night with my family relaxinig. I have to say from now on I'm going to try to do shoots when the sun is low or in more shady spots. I have over bearing light from the light. The place I went was flooded in a lot of places too but I worked with what I had anyways.

I had a play date last Friday with one of my very close friends, Lindsay! I took a few photos of her kids while there. I mainly sit and talked to her and watched/chased kids and enjoyed the day. I try to set time for enjoying life without the camera and time to capture the moment with the camera. These are the photos I took and for my semi-not so much- wordless Wednesday!

Her daughter, Rylie. She is the same age as Colton. They were born two weeks apart actually!

Her son, Ryder. He is 3 years old and twice the height of Adelyn. My wittle girl. She's used to that though!

The last 7.5 years have truly been amazing and full of up's and downs and unexpected twist. Ryan and I have endured many good and many bad days. We have had fights of all sorts but manage to always find out way back to each other and make up for the silly things we fight about. We have not only been blessed with the simple things in life like family, friends, a home, and such. We have also been given the privilege to have little little ones that are both made up of him and I! He has shown me what dedication and hardwork is really like. He has worked through pain and pushed to be the best person he can be to provide for his family. He has never given up or backed down but always pushed forward to better himself for now and the future. He inspires me to be a better person and not give up and let my confidence fade. He has an amazing personality full of fun, adventurer, laughs, and seriousness. He is so simple about things and lives life day by day not worrying about what could happen. He has always been by my side in every thing good and bad that I have went through. He has proven to be a best friend I've never had. I can completely be myself around him and not feel bad about it. He loves my weird sense of humor and my random nature. He loves how laid back I can be about not having to look perfect all the time and feel the need to wear make up and cover what god gave me all the time. He makes me feel beautiful without it. I never felt like that until we got married ever. I always felt like I had to dress up and look perfect but once he came into my life day in and day out I knew I didn't have to stride to be anything I'm not because I'm always what he wants. He makes me happy just by being him and surprises me when I least expect it. We went through two pregnancies that were stressful from preterm labor with Colton to my daughter only having a two cord vessel and not knowing if she would be ok until she would be born because that comes with many risk that I cried and prayed over during my pregnany but he always reassured me everything would be ok and no matter what happen god would be by our side and we would love our children no matter what and god doesn't make mistakes and give us anything we can't handle. I never felt like people were going to stay by my side and usually they would up and leave me if it's friendship, family, or relationships but he never made me doubt and has always stuck by me and chosen me before anything else or anyone. We believe once you are married that family (you, your husband, and children) are your own family now. You have to work hard on that family. Never giving up. Never giving in or letting anyone get in the way and what you are building. Marriage is a lot of work that takes commitment and strength and there are many bad and stressful days and we have had plenty from family stress, money stress, bills, friendships, and children but we have always made it through hand and hand persevering through it all. I thank you Ryan for being my rock, my shoulder to cry on, my best friend, and my one true love. I also thank god for being him in my life when I was at my worst and building me up and finding hope and positivity for the future. Without Ryan and god I wouldn't be who I am together and wouldn't have my wonderful children who I live for more than anything or anyone. Life isn't about what you have, It's about who you have in it. I definitely have reason live with them even if we didn't have all the materialistic things we do! Love you baby 7.5 years now and a million more to go here and in heaven!

Going to enjoy tomorrow though. Ryan surprised me with flowers, a card, and a gift card to get a hour long massage. He also got reservations at a nice place called Pattis at 8:45 at night because they are so busy. He also got his mom to babysit so we can enjoy the massage, spending time together, and going out to eat to a nice place. I was more than happy with everything. Then Sunday I have church and possibly 1-2 photo shoots!!! So have a good weekend and hope you liked my post about my one and only!

Nothing new. Was busy getting caught up yesterday and today. House is clean. Laundry is done. Photos are edited. Only need to clean my car and car seats. Then this week remake apts. and hope to finally kill weeds and plant flowers. Tomorrow is church and I have some cute new church outfits and a perfect vintage looking dress for tomorrow that I may wear cute cowboy boots to accent it. Then tanning and groceries followed by a photo shoot that is scheduled as long as the rain stays away. I will probably add on to this the next day or two with photo challenges and possibly more to post but this is just a little catch up on me.

Sunday update----
Went to church today and it was such an uplifting service. Everyone really got into the message. Many people got up and Ryan and I both have the presence of god with us and discussed how we are going to try to change our ways for the better and walk in the way of the lord. He told me he had the feeling to go up and give it all to god but like me holds his self back from fear too but I have the unimaginable feeling he also felt it while we held hands and shed a few tears and even though we didn't go up we both felt the word and it's definitely changing our lives and making us happier beings in a world full of bad things even more so now. I look forward to Sundays. To spend time with my husband while we learn and dedicate our lives and leave the materialistic world behind. Nothing in this world makes you happy like god will. Nothing in this world will satisfy you like he will. No money will replace it. Being the best won't replace it. It's the best feeling. When I feel down or bad about myself I now think "does it really matter" and the answer is no. I am completely happy when I'm like that. Even though I love photography, crafts, shopping, tanning, working out, and sorts nothing really matters in the end. The goal is changing our lives for the better and pursuing the goal to get to heaven. That's the real goal in life for me.

31st photo shoot (Wedding)

I had my 2nd wedding last week which I mentioned already. It was a cute, simple wedding that I was greatly honored to capture such a wonderful event in a persons life. It was pretty red and white colors which the cake and flowers matched perfectly as well as the dress the bride wore. I was able to get many great shots and close up and just simple photos showing family love at a great time. These were a few of them.

What a crazy traumatic week!

Sorry again for taking so long to update. It's been a crazy week which we all know. With all the devastating storms and disasters my heart goes out too all the families that lost their loved ones and homes. We can really close MANY times to have tornadoes here throughout the week and it was definitely scary but reassuring to have basements to be able to get in and makes me wish even more I had one. I can't even fathom going through such a horrific event in my life and the lives lost are so many. It makes you see that the end of the world is near and things probably won't get better so changing our lives for the better and giving our hearts to god is definitely something everyone should do and if these events don't give eye openers I really don't know what will anymore.I had a nice simple wedding last weekend but my other two shoots didn't happened due to weather and such which is bummer but I know there will be prettier weekends to come and to do them then and this month is full of shoots 1-2 a weeknd and a few babies to practice on with my new suitcase, white mat, diaper cover, and trench bowl I received in the mall! I'm going to start taking more photos of my children soon but I'm so behind. I didn't make it to Coltons appointments due to the crazy weather and it really brought my mood down so I have to reschedule those which won't be nothing to do. I did get Colton signed up for tball but waiting on the phone call to see when it will start! Today I'm getting my house picked up, deep cleaned, and 4-5 loads done tonight and also working on and hopefully finishing the wedding shoot. We didn't do dramatic poses or props just simple. I need to remember to bring extra batteries for my sb flash from now on though because it would go off and then stop and I would have to wait and miss this or that and it was frustrating to say the very least! I didn't get to plant flowers because of the storms and now the weeds are even higher. So I have to kill a butt load of weeds and get flowers possible this weekend to plant and spruce up the house! Next week if the weather stays normal we shall take our trip to the bank to see about the loan if we finally fill out the papers needed. We have everything else I just dread paperwork to the highest extent! So say a little prayer that goes through and I get everything I need to done. I will soon get to enjoy summer time and not waking up early for a couple months until school starts. I can work on losing weight and family time even more and I'm so excited. Kids are definitely harder the older they get and babies are so much more simple. Toddlers are potty training, school, independence but still needing you, sports, and so much more... But I wouldn't trade it. Now I'm babbling so I will do some challenges and say thank you to some I won or was the top whatever if I find them all and didn't miss them!

Springing into Thursday ;-)

So I guess it's time to finally head to Walmart or Lowes and pick out annuals to plant and a hanging baskets. I might even get a few more perennials like tulips and such if I find some good deals. Usually you can get annuals rather cheap so I may get about 20 or so to plant and on hanging basket for the front of the house and if I can find one a cute spring flag since I have something to put it on now! I love Spring and love decorating in a sense for a lot of things. I usually do during Fall, Christmas, and Spring! I can't wait to make the front look prettier with color and to take photos of it all and also can't wait to redo a lot on this house soon!!! It's been a pretty good week so far. I've worked out twice at the YMCA and ran 3.5 miles in all so far this week and did a lot with weights and can do more each week which is great since I have some little arms I need to work up and get tone and in better shape overall. My goal is to work out 3-4 times a week but something always comes up or I lack the motivation to do so but I really want to stick to it and become healthier anyways. I have to get the kids their easter basket and some eggs too. Colton is doing a hunt at school Friday, church Sunday, and then at family's Sunday! He only has a few weeks left of school and I'm so excited and happy but it's huge that he will soon be gone all day and learning so much at a real public school! I'm excited/nervous for him!!! I finally went through Adelyns clothes from last summer and have about 6 shoes and 40-50 outfits I'm giving to a family member. Sadly I bought most of them brand new but she loved adorable in all of it. I had to make room because her closest was full from one end to the other and Coltons is too so I need to get rid of some more of his. I will probably wait to buy a huge set of Clothes late summer for them since they are growing fast but plan to get more pjs soon since they haven grown out of so many and need some spring ones asap!!! I love pjs!!! I will probably be a little behind Friday and next week since I have three coming up shoots wedding, party, and family and it will take me a few days to edit and upload those and also busy with family this weekend too but I will update as soon as I can. I hope the weather is warmer this weekend since it went from 80 to 40/50 and I hate cold weather especially holidays we are going to be outside and if I have photo shoots too! We will see how it goes! I plan on doing a few *free* newborn- 3 month shoot until June for more practice and I LOVE newborn shoots so much anyways. I just ordered a trench bowl, blue vintage suitcase, a white fuzzy mat, and a white diaper cover I'm excited to put them all to good use.If I find good deals I want to get some really nice elegant but vintage backdrops for babies and young children. If you know any good sites that have really good prices and quality let me know!!!

Not much going on. I did all of what I said I was going to do today. Going to finish a few things tomorrow and relax. Now on to some photo challenges.

Last week edited up being a blah/unmotivated week and my car was acting funky because it needs new transmission stuff to run smoothly because apparently I'm too rough with it so I had to change my photo shoots to another weekend in May and hope to be able to do the 3 I have this weekend. I've decided to keep it at 2 a weekend due to that's my 2nd job and my family is my first and it's the only "real" family time we have. I try not to reschedule unless I absolutely have to. It makes me feel sick actually but sometimes I have to if someones sick, working, or something just isn't working right and love the clients I have so far and hope to have in the future that are so understanding because I will always change plans and travel to be able to make my clients happy so hate to change things but that's life I suppose. I went to church again today except this line my lovely husband accompanied me and Colton finally went to kids church since it starts for 3 years and potty trained and his is 3-5 year olds. I'm glad he finally was ok and decided to have fun and hopefully learn about god more in church. Adelyn stayed in nursery of course since she's not fully potty trained but working on it. She does it on her own if she wants to go she can, if not she doesn't have to. I don't disciplining or push I just go with the flow but will try more consistent during the summer when I'm at home more and Colton is out of school for three months! It was a good service about god giving his life so we can decide our path. We are are destined to death as soon as we are born, but we decide if we will go to hell, or change and give our life to god, like he did for us so unselfishly. I didn't cry this time but loved listening and relearning things I knew and things I didn't. We went out to eat with family after and went riding on our rhino for about 4 hours and got all muddy and I loved it! This week I plan to get as much done as possible so I may be late once again updating but happy about all my comments on my last post and the ones who continue to read. I have to make an appointment to get Colton a physical and eye exam for school then faxed to his school. I have to make a doctor appointment for Ryan. I have to call the insurance company to replace his windshield that got hit by a rock on the parkway. I also have to take Colton to school, go my gnc, the bank, finish laundry, and clean house. So it will be a very busy day and I hope to get that done tomorrow and organize some this week to plan for the weekend and Easter!! If all goes well we may go to Evansville this weekend and get us all a few church clothes since we only have so many (well Ryan and I) and I want more dresses since I don't have or wear many until now! He's suppose to get some forms and I'm suppose to save the next pay stub so we can finally (hopefully) go to the bank on 2nds and get a loan towards our house to remodel this summer and get it out of the way so we can plan to move or try to sell and move next year. Hopefully god leads the way and helps us along the way. I don't want to do a lot. Mainly new carpets, windows, redoing laundry room, stuff outside, and a few small upgrades to enhance the house. We live in a average size house and it's average looking and has it's good and bad qualities and I love it for the most part but want to change a lot. I just have so many plans and it's nerve wrecking! I'm done with that little update so I will do some photo challenges. I need to also take some photos of the kids more this weekend even if it's a bunch inside to add to photo challenges. I'm so behind!

Now I can't wait to plan and save up to do Coltons and Adelyns party. His will be a dinosaur theme but not sure where I will have it or what I will add yet but have things in mind. My four year old son said he was a tv and xbox for his birthday?!?! He's going to be a very observant boy that does more quiet things that's for sure! Adelyn's I plan on doing a fairytale/ make believe party and not only buying but making stuff. I like to be creative and even if it doesn't look perfect to everyone I enjoy it and love it just the same and I'm sure they will too. I told Ryan one of my favorite things is planning parties and events and something that would be fun yet stressful to do...anyways... Now I'm done "updating"!!!

Tomorrow I will be busy taking Colton to school, running by my mamaws, getting groceries alone, signing Colton up for kindergarten and possible tball, putting up groceries alone, making new lists for the next week or two, making supper, working out, and then tanning. Hopefully I will accomplish all of this because so far the 1st week of day shift has been lazy because I dislike dayshift since I'm far from a morning person and love 2nd shift because I get so much more done. We will see though..

First I want to think Paper heart camera (Chelsea) for picking my photo for the surprise theme! THANK YOU!!!!
Also my texture photo was chosen by Kristy. Which makes me very happy and I need to start doing more texture photos now! I sometimes forget to add that twist!

Church went wonderfully. I feel like a new person when I go to church and even though I'm still making small mistakes here and there I'm learning to catch myself more and change it while I can. It was such an overwhelming experience when the preacher talked about problems in families, relationships, and more I couldn't help but break down and cry. The kind of crying you can't control and you just give over to god and let him take away any pain you have. I hate crying in public or showing a lot of emotions and letting people use what hurts me against me but being in church I know judgment wouldn't happen and it felt good. Every time I go to church it's like the preacher is talking to me every single time. Sign from god? I think so! He talked about giving your whole life to god so you could have all the advantages of being a Christian. Letting god lead the way and knowing you will make mistakes but he will always take you back and let you do better. You can always say your a Christian but living the life is hard but once I start completely I will have the life I was meant to have. I can't wait to go again Sunday and hopefully Ryan won't have to work and he can come with me and we can better ourselves and live like we should as a family and for our family.

30th photo shoot

I had my 30th photoshoot Thursday with Little Miss Chloee when I went to have a girls night and put together some stuff for a birthday party. Nicole (her mom) had won a photo contest I had on my fan page on facebook. Which give you a free photo shoot by me. She was really good and I got close ups of her face and many expressions and also of her playing with dandelions, weeds, and flowers. I loved editing each photo because they all pop with the background which was a rock wall and trees/grass. Here are a few photos from it!

But I'm updating now. I was busy Thursday night with family members Bekah, Nicole, and Leah helping Bekah decorate for her sons birthday party today which is a monsters theme. I also took photos for Nicole of her daughter Chloee since they won a free photo shoot a while back for one of my photo contest on my fan page through facebook "Tiffany Franklin Photography"!!! We had a great decision about god, changing our ways, and the end of time. I realized I still have a loads to learn about and one way to push myself in the right direction and change anything bad about me is to start attending church regularly and plan to go to Bekahs church tomorrow since they do a lot with children which matters to me A LOT! I'm ready to change a few things and just simply be a better person. I've changed a lot the last few months but going to church pushes you more and keeps you the right path if it's drinking, cussing, getting mad easily, or silly things to control in my daily life I will do it because being the right person for god means more and knowing when he comes back I won't be left behind without my children, family, and friends around. One thing that I've changed is decided to do is forgive everyone in my life that's ever hurt me and move past it and to also forgive myself for every hurting others for reasons that weren't smart. I know I will never be close with some people ever again and some relationships aren't meant to be. I can only change me and my actions and can't control others and how they perceive me wrong but I can forgive them and be happy with myself and not go on and on about same old drama and fighting and just know I'm better off with out negativity and some friends and better off with positive friends and god by my side teaching me who I need in my life that doesn't bring out the worst in my like anger, resentment, and competition these are things I want to move past for myself and I can't get anyone to do it themselves but can pray to keep my head up and pray for others to be happy too. I want god to cleanse me and make me the person I need to be. I want him to keep me on the straight and narrow. I want to go up to the alter when I get the urge to give all my grief to god and just let go of any demons buried deep inside that the devil wants me to keep a hold of. I want to be a better me and someone my children can look up too and mimic good behavior not the type of behavior I've had in the past. I want all smiles and just not worry about tomorrow and take it one day at a time and enjoy the present. I hope I keep my head on right and keep to it and try to go to church regularly and not be a hypocrite and go and then go back to bad habits or bad relationships. Today is my change and I'm taking baby steps!!!
